German Business Park has been designed to become a unique icon building within the central district “epicentre” of the DSO master plan; with design features that will allow it to stand alone in Dubai and throughout the region as a testament to German design innovation and building technology. Designed by Fischer Architects of Mannheim, Germany, with engineering support from leading German structural, MEP and energy consultants, including the Fraunhofer Institute, the project also enjoys comprehensive project management services provided by Drees & Sommer from offices in Germany & Dubai. This highly experienced team of experts are taking the project from conceptual design to completion, and involving the leading Dubai-based A&E firm, Rice Perry Ellis, to complete the building permit and tender documentation for competitive bidding among only the top building contracting firms in Dubai who have already been short-listed.
The attention to detail to achieve the high standards expected and demanded by a building of this type will also involve exceptional discrimination by the development team in choosing only the best interior designers, landscape architects, lighting experts, hotel management companies and retail operators… all based on demonstrable performance and reputation.
In this way also, the calliper tenants that will be attracted to own or lease space within the German Business Park will, in their own right, establish a parallel standard of excellence that will not only be truly German by reputation and vision, but will also become “complementary” to one another through the intention and careful selection process by the development team.
In short, the founders of the German Business Park intend to create nothing less than a powerhouse of German corporate identity and brand recognition that will be second to none in all of the Gulf Region.
